It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Hoover House Jr. of Wade, North Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irma Stewart Warren and Vernon Hoover House Sr. Mr; his wife Janet Nunnery House; his children, Vernon Scott House (Kelly) of Kissimmee, Florida and Christy House Tyndall (Michael) of Godwin, NC; his stepchildren, Jaclyn Stapleton, Melissa Taylor-Owens (Jimmy) and Randy Autry; his siblings, David Warren (Connie) of St. Pauls, NC, Clarence "Luck" Warren (Shirley) of St. Pauls, NC, Hilda Knowles (David) of Autryville, NC and Gilda McLean (Ron) of Autryville, NC; his half-sister Mary Locklear of Hope Mills, NC; his mother-in-law Jewel Nunnery; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Nunnery and Jill Goulet. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
