He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hair and Lossie Hair; his wife Sandy Hair; and his sisters, Delia Phillips, Glenda Davis and Daphnia Castellow (Lewis).
He is survived by: his children, Denise Farley (Buster) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jerry D Johnson (Leslie) of Apex, NC, Harry C Johnson (Ellen) of Charlotte, NC and Yvonne Pickering of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Fletcher Pickering, Jacob Pickering and Catherine Johnson; and his siblings, Genevieve Matson and James Hair of Wade, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
