She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Holmes and Mildred Holmes; her brother Barney Holmes; and her half-sister Mary Alyce Benkosky. She is survived by: her husband Hugh Stanley Matthews; her daughter Lana Matthews Hall (Alan) of Wade; her granddaughters, Natalie and Olivia Hall; her sister Catherine Lewis (Dennis) of Fayetteville; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Paschal (Richard) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
