She was predeceased by: her parents, Felton Barefoot and Ida Lovick Barefoot; her husband Carl M. Daughtry, Sr.; and her sister Helen B. Tillman. She is survived by: her children, Carl Daughtry, Jr. (Daphne) of Rocky Mount, NC and Jean Daughtry Crean (Peter) of Emory, SD.; and her niece MaryAnn Steinmetz.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be made in Madeline's memory to Wade Baptist Church 7242 Main Street, Wade, North Carolina 28395.
