We bid farewell to Joel Daniel Royal Jr. (Wade, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Joel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Joel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his son Samuel Youngblood. He is survived by: his wife Lenora Royal; his children, Robert Youngblood, Joel Muller, Pamela Warren and James Royal; and his sisters, Sandra Thompson and Elaine Wessinger (Boyd). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Center Baptist Church (4210 Center Church Road, Wade, NC 28395). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Center Baptist Church (4980 Wade-Stedman Rd, Wade, NC 28395).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Center Baptist Church Building Fund in Joel's memory.
