He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Greene Swift; his son Derek Lynn Swift (Becky); his daughter-in-law Sandy Winebarger Swift; his grandsons, William Cody Swift and Corey Allen Swift; his stepgrandchildren, Dennis Dollar, Taylor Cornell (Jonny), Jesse Cooper (Jacob) and Davy Cornell (Marisa); his siblings, Ronald Clay Swift (Rhea) of Hickory, Thomas Gene Swift (Sallie) of Boone and Patricia Swift Smith (Danny) of Morganton; and also, Kenny Greene, Eddy Greene (Cretha) and Kathy Greene (Lynn). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren.
