She was predeceased by: her husband N. T. Ward, Jr.; and her granddaughters, Michelle and Mindy Harmon. She is survived by: her children, Jewel Harmon of Trade, TN and Rick Ward of Vilas, NC.; and her nephews, Wayne Henson of Jackson, TN and Gary Henson of Fort Wayne, Indiana..

The family respectfully requests no food, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
