He is survived by: his mother Wava Yarber Hodges of Vilas; his sons, Edward Hodges (Mary) of Vilas and Christopher Hodges (Amy) of Beech Creek; his grandchildren, Finley, Blake, Alexis, Kendra and Taylor Hodges; his siblings, Blaine Hodges of Vilas, Aaron Hodges of Vilas and Beverly Broschinski (Rudy) of Sugar Grove; and his close friend Ellen 'Squeak Dotson.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Danner Cemetery Fund, in care of David Hodges, 1075 Laurel Fork Road, Vilas, NC 28692.
