He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Harmon and Vera Harmon; his sister Carol Harmon; his parents-in-law, Geter and Rosa Estep Greene; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Greene Ward, Edith Greene, Ben Greene, Reed Greene and Rodney Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Greene Harmon of Vilas; his children, Michael Dean Harmon of Charlotte and Emily Harmon Younce (Jeff) of Vilas; his grandchildren, Molly of Vilas and Bailey Younce of Vilas; his siblings, David Harmon (Jamie) of Boone, Roger Harmon (Barbara) of Sugar Grove and Carlene Wilson (Russell) of Goldsboro; his uncle Arlis Tester (Bina) of Sugar Grove; and his siblings-in-law, Blanche Williams, Kate Greene Ward (Dennis), Jackie Greene and Elbert Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
