He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lawrence and Virgie Snyder Lawrence; his son John Donald Lawrence; his brother-in-law Bower Thomas; and his parents-in-law, Ed and Ida Harmon.
He is survived by: his daughter Libby Bryant (John) of Lexington; his grandchildren, McKinlee Watson of Millers Creek, Dwayne Warren (Jamie) of Booneville, Dylan Lawrence of Shelby and Garret Lawrence (U. S. Army) of Fort Campbell, Kentucky; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathon Bryant (Courtney) of Lexington, Justin Bryant of Lexington, Colton Bryant of Lexington and Casey Bryant of Lexington; his stepgreat-grandsons, Caleb Bryant of Ashboro and Taylor Childress of Booneville; and his siblings, Barton Lawrence (Connie) of Lincoln University, Frank Lawrence (Judy) of Trade and Charlotte Thomas of Zionville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many good friends.
