Johnny Austin South Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Austin South (Vilas, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther South and Eunice Houck South; his wife Margaret Gladys Rominger South; and his siblings, June Johnson, Courtney Ives, Ruby Johnson and Steve South.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Miller (Larry) of Fleetwood, Kathy Lockhart of Lenoir and Jimmy South (Brenda) of Vilas; his sister Shirley Matheson of Vilas; his grandchildren, Kayla Smith (Brian), Tina Greene (L. J.), Jamie Davis (Nathan), Martha South, Jacob Lockhart (Morgan) and Benji Lockhart; and his great grandchildren, Blaine, Bella Smith, Ethan Davis, Addison Greene, Callie Greene, James Greene and Michael.
