He is survived by: his close friends, Gary, Donna Lindabury, Tommy and Lula Lawrence; his children, Dwight Moody (Becky) of Newland, Keith Moody of Newland and Shelia Moody of Boone; his sister Linda Seamon of Vilas; and his granddaughters, Brittany Reece, Kayla Jones, Brianna Arnold, Stephanie Moody and Cassie Moody. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
