We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2020, at the age of 83, Bonnie Murphy of Vilas, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertie Moore and Velma Brogdon Moore; her husband Max Murphy; her brother Billy Moore; and her son-in-law Craig Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Bud Moore of West Berrien, Patti Henry of Vilas, NC and Lisa Lewis (Tim) of Rocky Mount, NC; her stepdaughters, Kay Hunter (Lynn) of Hahira, Debbie Darby (Don) of Hahira, Tina Bennett (Paul) of Palatka, FL and Joy Whitten of Brunswick; her grandchildren, Parker Moore, Kellie Moore (A. C. Whelchel), Bailey Alkhatib (Abed) and Amelia Lewis; her great grandchild Gencie Whelchel; and her sister Betty Griner of Nashville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Georgia Sheriff's Boys Ranch or charity of your choice.
