He was predeceased by: his parents, Clint Baird and Josie Mast Baird; and his sister Patty Hodges (Dennis). He is survived by: his brother Dan Baird (Anne Vannoy Baird) of Matthews; his nephew David Baird (Karen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua, Joey Baird (Dana), Samantha and Sarah of Indian Trail.
Due to the Covid restrictions, the family will have a private graveside service.
