He is survived by: his wife Anita Combs Eldreth; his mother Pauline Moretz; his stepfather Howard Moretz of Lexington; his stepdaughter Joni Johnson (Kyle) of Williamsburg, Virginia; his grandchildren, Eli Dean Johnson of Williamsburg, Kyle Johnson, Jr. of Spartanburg, Abrianna Johnson of Colorado Springs and Sophie Johnson of Salisbury; and his aunt Ruth Shaver of Independence, VA..

The family requests all attending wear a mask and practice socially distance.
