She was predeceased by: her parents, Haywood Thompson and Effie Lee Thompson; and her sisters, Pearl and Joann. She is survived by: her husband Joseph R. Hearne; her children, Robin Sticklen (Bill) of Virginia and Daniel Hearne (Darcey) of Wilmington; her grandson Clayton Denny (Liz); and her great grandchild Caleb Denny.
