He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Chase; his wife Elizabeth Ruth Chase; and his brother Richard Wallace Chase. He is survived by: his children, Susan Baldwin of New Hampshire, Scott Chase of Vass, Philip Chase of Massachusetts, Richard Chase of Virginia and Kathy Godfrey of Vass; and his sister Sherry Thibideau of Maine. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
