She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Powers (Thomas) of Vass, NC, Julianne McCarl (Mark) of Rockledge, FL and Carolyn DeJesus (Daniel) of Vass, NC; her grandchildren, Gregory Powers (Jesica), Christina Harwell (Joseph), Timothy Powers (Rebekah), Daniel DeJesus (Amber), James McCarl (Robyn), Margaret Miller (John), Michael DeJesus and Olivia DeJesus; her cousins, Jack Pritting, Nancy Hunter and Mary Stadelmaier; and her close friends, Elgie Brand and Gloria TeeBoon. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home (4888 US-1, Vass, NC 28394). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (175 E Connecticut Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
