He is survived by: his wife Brenda Brooks Smith; his pet Riki; and his siblings, Nellie Hollingsworth (Doug) of Eastover, Mary Ruth Welch of Florida and Harry Smith (Cheryl) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
