Joseph Franklin Frye Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Franklin Frye of Vass, North Carolina, who passed away on April 29, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lucian Brooks Frye; and his sisters, Ruth Frye Hendricks of Deland, Fla., Rebecca "Betty" Frye King of Vass, NC and Rachel Frye Thomas of Concord, NC. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Chilton Frye; his daughter Susan Frye Stroder; his granddaughter Lauren Brooks Stroder; and his siblings, William Brooks Frye (Bill), Samuel Morris Frye (Sam) and Ann Frye Wallace. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
