She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar P. Brewer and Viola Brewer; her husband John W. Hipp of Vass; her child Eddie C. Hipp of Vass; and her brother Donald Brewer of Carthage.
She is survived by: her son W. Dean Hipp (Kris) of Southern Pines; her daughter-in-law Teresa Hipp of Vass; her grandchildren, John T. Hipp (Elizabeth) of Garner, Rev. Joanna Hipp of Oak Island, Katelyn Hipp of Raleigh and Austin Hipp of Southern Pines; and her great grandchild Jordan Hipp of Garner.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Jo Ann Brewer Hipp 's name.
