He was predeceased by: his parents, Najla Aswad and Nejm Aswad; his sister-in-law Betsy Aswad; and his mother-in-law Linda Snell. He is survived by: his wife Shelley; his children, Tia Chick (Craig Stokes) of Moore County, NC, Nadya Elizabeth Aswad (Eileen Harrington) of Madison, WI and Edward M. Aswad II of Binghamton, NY; his grandchildren, Rachel Prieto (Andrew), Alister Chick (Candice), Isabella Aswad and Lauren Aswad; his great grandchild Hugh Prieto; his siblings, Dr. Charles N. Aswad (Joanne), Richard N. Aswad and Nadya Higgins (Jim); and his father-in-law Barry Snell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
