We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Betty Doss Bibey Ashburn of Vass, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Doss and Julia Hardy Doss; her sister Mickie Sheffield (Luke Bibey); her children, Dale, Ronnie, Stevie Bibey and Phyllis Edmisten; her grandson William Bibey (Blue); and her great grandchild Luke Dowd.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Caviness (Danny) of Lakeview and Donna Taylor. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces.

Mrs. Ashburn requested absolutely no flowers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
