It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Collins of Vass, North Carolina, born in Leadville, Colorado, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Roy Christian and Verna Morris Christian; and her brother Kenneth Christian. She is survived by: her husband Charles Lee Collins, Sr.; her children, Paula Nieves (Tito) of Vass, Tracy Paterson (Justin) of Greenville, Kelly Kennedy of Vass and Charles Lee Collins, Jr. of Vass; and her sisters, Linda Muse (Sandy) of Carthage, Peggy Marsh (Lavern) of Carthage, Carol Deese (Gary) of Carthage, Dana Trolio (Tony) of Carthage and Bonnie Roberts (Mike) of Carthage. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
