It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Raye Potter of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Hobucken, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lathiel Leary and Allie Williamson Leary; her husband Orien C. Potter; her children, Graham Montier Potter, Glory Ann Potter and Grady Potter; and her grandchildren, Casey Potter Kites, Amanda Potter Williams, Holly White and Cody White. She was also cherished by five great-grandchildren.
