He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Mae Askew and William Arthur Phillips; and his brothers, Rex and Arthur Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Phillips; and his children, Dawn Phillips and David Phillips. He is also survived by cousins, adored nieces and nephews, and two rescue cats.
