She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Shivers, Jr. (Tom); her son William Jeffrey Shivers (Jeff); her granddaughter Christie Lynn; and her siblings, Mattie, Robert, James Lewis, Evelyn and Rose.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Thomas Corey of Robersonville; her daughter-in-law Linda Shivers; her grandchildren, Billy Shivers (Jazett) of Ayden, Scott Thomas (Lexia) of Nashville, TN, Matt Thomas of Nashville, TN, Dwayne Shivers (Sabrina) of Winterville, Helen Jordan (John) of Greenville, Brandy Shivers Forbes (Derrick) of Ayden, Adam Corey (Brittany) of Grimesland and Chase Shivers of Winterville; her great grandchildren, Amber (Zach), Dylan (Haylee), Jonathan, Brandon, Stacey, Dare, Declan, Cheyenne, Holden (Skeeter), Charlotte, Elsie and Jaxson; her great great grandchild Ryan; and her brother Marvin Robinson (Sharon) of Mt. Home, ID. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
