It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Raymond Spain Jr. of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Raymond and Eva Roberson Spain; and his son Shane Hall of Ayden. He is survived by: his wife Alice Davis Spain; his children, Wanda Allen Wingate (Ollen) of Winterville, David Raymond Spain (Krisann) of Raleigh, Jennifer Spain Adams (Jason) of Greenville, Tonya Allen Loftin (Jason) of Grifton and Bobbi Jo Allen Hall; his grandchildren, Blake Wingate (Caitlin), Brittany Adams Rivero (Manny), Adam Wingate (Ataya), McKenzie Loftin, Gavin Everette, Zackary Spain, Brock Adams, Savannah Hall, Michael Spain, Rachel Hall and Colby Loftin; his great grandchildren, Autumn Wingate, Huxlee Everette, Ayrleigh Wingate, Ashlyn Wingate and Cruz Rivero; and his siblings, Carolyn Davis (Pete) of Wilmington, Asa Spain of Ayden and Mart Spain of Farmville.
