We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2024, at the age of 92, Shelton Eli Bailey of Vanceboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence Bailey and Mary Ann Rogerson Bailey; his sister Trula Bailey Roebuck; his brother-in-law Vernon Roebuck; his brother William Clarence Bailey, Jr.; his grandson Robbie Roberson; and his nephew Keith Turnbow.
He is survived by: his children, Sheree Hardison (Jackie) of Williamston, NC and Shelton Bailey Jr. (Chuck) of Fuquay-Varina; his granddaughters, Kristy Hardison (Mark) and Nikki Joyner; his great grandchildren, Bailey Hardison and Mallory Joyner; his stepgrandchildren, Marty Hardison (Donna), Shawn Hardison (Kelley), Lane Hardison (Stephanie), Aaron, Alex, Josh, Haley, Kelsey and Kenleigh Hardison; and his close friend Faye Harrington of Greenville.
