He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Samuel Adolph Lupton, Sr. and Geneva M. Cox Lupton; his wife Nettie Jeanette Lewis; his son Samuel Joseph Lupton, Sr. (Shannon) of Vanceboro; his sister Joanne Bennett of New Bern; and his grandchildren, Oliver and Nettie Lupton.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pamlico Memorial Gardens (161 Avon Ave, Washington, NC 27889).
