He was predeceased by: his wife Jackie Benson Berbert; his daughter Ruth Berbert Woods; his parents, Lyn Berbert and Emilie Berbert; and his siblings, Lyn Berbert and Sylvia Rellstab.
He is survived by: his sons, David Paul Berbert (Amy) of Greenville, NC and Mark Adam Berbert (Becky) of Louisburg, NC; his granddaughter Emily Berbert Hall (Caleb); and his great grandchild Carter Hall of Summerville, SC..
