He was predeceased by: his parents, John James Thompson and Estelle Gupton Thompson; and his brothers, John Gupton and Morris Lee Gupton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Boulden Thompson; his daughter Kimberly Lea Thompson-Tucker (BJ); his grandchildren, Victor, Ric and Jziya; his siblings, Larry Timothy Thompson (Faye) and Brenda Thompson House; his aunt Edith Gupton Flowers (Robert); and his close friend Morris Lee Gupton, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
