He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Stevenson; his parents, Alfred Stevenson and Helen Stevenson (Dennis); and his siblings, Raymond, William, Alfred, Joyce and Diane.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Stevenson, Jr. (Emily) of New Bern and John Miriani of Vanceboro; his grandsons, Ivan and Levi Stevenson; and his siblings, Frank, Jerry, Dennis Stevenson, Carol Kau and Joann Sulejmani.
