He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Frank Woolard and Daisy W. Woolard; his wife Doris B. Woolard; his sister Joyce W. Pipkin; his grandmother J. Harris-Buettner; and his brothers, Johnny Frank Woolard, Jr. and Otis Woolard.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Woolard (Joanne) of Vanceboro, NC and Lori Woolard of Vanceboro, NC; his grandchildren, Emily Woolard of Trent Woods, NC, Hunter Jones of Vanceboro, NC and Hannah Newsome (Evan) of Winton, NC; his siblings, Melvin Woolard (Charlotte) of Washington and Carol Latham; and his pet Oreo.
