She was predeceased by: her parents, Ovide Britton Snell and Myrtle Inez Brickhouse Snell; and her husband Jesse R. Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Jesse Ronnie Jackson, Jr. (Sharon), Gregory N. Jackson (Debbie), Patricia Jackson and Kathy Sheely; her grandchildren, Jessica (Neall), Cory, Ashley (Jeremy), Zach, Curtis (Katy), Megan (Brendan), Erin (Brendan) and Chase; her great grandchildren, Presley, Brylee, Addison, Norah, Jackson, Liam, Crew, Amelia, Miles and Beckam; her brother Lonnie; and her sister-in-law Linda Jackson.
