She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Markowitz and Martha Sullivan Markowitz; and her sons, Vincent (Angelina) and Mark (Deborah). She is survived by: her husband Vincent Peter Mikkelsen; her grandchildren, Marie of Tallahassee, Jack, Ethan and Liam of Centennial; her sister Sonya Vance of Lexington; and her cousin Edith Robertson of Florence.
