He was predeceased by: his parents, Durwood Rouse and Bonnie Williams Rouse; his wife Alice L. Rouse; his son James Earl Rouse; and his brothers, Mike, Woody and Pete Rouse.
He is survived by: his son Ned Holden Rouse, Jr. (Cathy); his grandson Christopher Rouse (Robin); and his sister Libby Purser (Mike).
