She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Adams Porter and Earl Lindenburg Porter. She is survived by: her husband Donald Yates Leggett of Greenville; her son Clayton Porter Johnston (Laura); and her grandson Hucksley Gray Johnston of Grifton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakmont Baptist Church (1100 Red Banks Rd, Greenville, NC 27858).
