She was predeceased by: her daughter Teresa Shingleton (George); her husband Larry Thomas McLawhorn; her parents, Walter Jay Thomas, Sr. and Lottie Watkins Thomas; and her siblings, Walter Jay Thomas, Jr., Judy Thomas Byrd and Charles Dean Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Johnson (Phil) and Vicki Alexander (Charlie); her grandchildren, Kelli, Lily, Michael, Destiny and Brooklyn; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Leah and Raylan. She is also survived by her three daughters and their spouses.
