Mary Frances Mahoney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Frances Mahoney of Vanceboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison and Allie Corbeau Fillingame; her siblings, Lorena Fillingame, Mary Wiggins, Helen Ramsey Smith, Pittman and Davis Fillingame; her sons-in-law, Tracy Germon and Cricket Waters; and her sister-in-law Kathy Duley.
She is survived by: her husband James Joseph Mahoney; her sister Carolyn Boyd (Randy); her children, Stephanie Smith (Mike), Melanie Germon, Sarah Waters and Steven Michael Harris (Melinda); her granddaughters, Sabrina Harris (Alexia), Brittany Toler (Brent), Morgan Rosado (Micah), Heather Waters Kaitlyn Germon (Arthur) and Jocelyn Waters; and her great grandchildren, Marlow, Ella, Scarlet, Trystan, Callan and Chase. She is also survived by two Great aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Juniper Chapel Church Cemetery (655 Piney Neck Rd, Vanceboro, NC 28586).
