She was predeceased by: her parents, Snodie Adams and Ladigole Adams; her former husbands, Charles Harris (Sonny) and Jimmie Brewer; her siblings, Margie Adams White, Hazel Adams Moore and William Earl Adams; and her son Randy Lee Harris.
She is survived by: her husband James Askew; her sons, Charles Harris (Donna), Jim Brewer (Audrey) and Todd Brewer (Jenee); her grandchildren, Tyler Harris (Basak), Ryan Harris (Meghan), Alexis Brewer, Madison Brewer (Tanner) and Cobie Brewer; her great grandchildren, Charlie and Jack Harris; her brother Talmadge Adams; and her stepchildren, Ronnie Askew (Lisa) and Deborah Askew. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
