She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Matthew "Rick" Grady, Jr.; her grandparents, Paul, Ruby Mitchell, Ottis and Pearl Barrow; and her father-in-law Richard Matthew Grady, Sr. (Marla).
She is survived by: her mother Ramona Mitchell of Goldsboro; her daughter Macey Lauren Arrington of Raleigh; her father James Mitchell; her brother Clint Mitchell of New Bern; and her mother-in-law Clara Grady of Goldsboro. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
