It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Everette Mills of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Madison Mills. She is survived by: her children, Dallas Eugene Mills (Debra Vandiford Mills) of Farmville, Donna Kay Mills Simmons of Greenville, Tammy Renee Mills Stallings (Kenneth Earl Stallings) of Greenville and Cynthia Yvonne Mills Brown (David Bryant Brown) of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, James Michael Simmons, Amber Elizabeth Simmons Guthrie, Samuel Kevin Stallings, Barbra Mills Hayes, Michael Wayne Caldwell, Allen Blake Simmons, Kenneth Brandon Stallings, David Cameron Brown and Zachary Ryan Brown; and her great grandchildren, Kiley Adair Guthrie, Kenlie Alisabeth Guthrie, Keaton Avery Guthrie, Keller Ashton Guthrie, Tyler Rayne Stallings, David Asher Brown, Natasha Simmons, Cody Turner and Joshua Mills.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church (1726 Staton House Rd, Greenville, NC 27834). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
