He is survived by: his sons, Clifton of New Bern and Steven Smith of New Bern; his stepsons, Eddie Moore (Sherry) of Vanceboro and Christopher Moore of Vanceboro; his grandchildren, Courtney (Ethan), Corey, Cammey, Troy and Kimmy; his great grandchild Maria; and his daughter-in-law Crystal Ward (Neil).
