It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kent Edward Lee of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh B. Lee and Gladys B. Lee; and his wife Betty McGowan Lee. He is survived by: his close friends, Linda (Peter) of Wilson's Mills, NC and Kent Jr. (Belinda) of Lucama, NC.; and his family, Holt Wilson (Nick) of Greensboro, NC, Lauren (Thomas), Lila, Knox, Ada Lee Trogdon of Pine Level, NC, Harry (Millie), Mary Mac, Yates Wilson of Four Oaks, NC and Cullen Lee of Boone, NC.. He is also survived by four grandchildren, their partners, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a tree in memory of Kent and making a donation to the SECU Hospice House of Johnston County, 426 Hospital Road Smithfield, NC 27577.
