With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Jackson of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2023 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kay Jackson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Herring and Lucille Herring; her husband Kenneth Jackson; her brother Linwood Herring; and her brother-in-law Allan Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Jackson and Kenneth Ray Jackson (Rebecca); her stepchildren, Melissa Cannon (Mike) and Linwood Whitehurst; her granddaughter Piper Jackson; her stepgrandchildren, Russell Phillip and Daniel Cannon; her sisters, Mary Hill (Jimmy), Bet Bishop and Norma Moody (Allen); and her cousin Ray Jarman. She is also survived by son many great-grandchildren.
