She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Onie Nelms Joyner; her husband James Harvey Withers IV; her sons, James Harvey Withers V and Robert Hoover Withers; and her siblings, Nell Harrell, John Allen, Willard and Ray Joyner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katherine Anne McCord and Kimberly Rowland; her brothers, Billie and Garland Joyner (Joan); her grandchildren, Timothy McCord, Robert Rowland, Theodore McCord (Ann), Meggan Vincek (Edward), Amanda Williams (Darrin Harrell), Jamie Carpenter (Dereck), Suzy Herron and Cecelia Gilbert (Bret); and her great grandchildren, Sydney Williams, Steven McCord (Fe), James McCord, Joe McCord, Grace McCord, TJ McCord, Tiffany and David Herron. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
