She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Edwards and Dot Howell Edwards; her husband Kirby Junior McLawhorn; her siblings, Thelma Moore and Jack Edwards; and her stepgrandson Drew Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Clark (Walter) of Greenville, Tony McLawhorn (Angie) of Winterville and Christy Garris (Jim) of Winterville; her brother Ricky Edwards of Greenville; her granddaughter Jessica McLawhorn; her stepgranddaughter Lindsey Chambers (Jay) of Little Rock, AR; and her close friend Bandit.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saints Delight Free Will Baptist Church (4679 Ormondsville Rd, Ayden, NC 28513).
