He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Williamson and Effie Mercer Williamson; and his siblings, Peggy Winborne, Don, Billy and Roland Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Williamson; his son Jason Williamson; his daughter-in-law Alexandra; his daughter Joey McCloskey; his son-in-law Shaun; his grandchildren, Connor, Carmen, Alexis, Ashley McCloskey, Amelia, Sophia and Isabella Smith; and his great grandchild Thomas Carey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hope Church (2029 W 5th St, Washington, NC 27889). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
