With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Harvey Lilly of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Lilly and Beulah Lilly; and his siblings, Annie Marie Nobles, Sallie Jane Smith and Jason Lilly.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Lilly; his sons, Marshall Lilly (Sherry H. Lilly) and Don Lilly (Martha I. Lilly); his siblings, Sammy Lilly (Edith "Sissy"), Betty "Tootsie" Ipock (Bruce) and Glenda L. George (Neal); his grandchildren, JoAna L. Grimes (Scott), Matt Lilly (Kristen), Sarah L. Ambrose (Brett) and Austin Lilly; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Grimes (Kailie), Emma Grimes and Samuel Lilly.
Memorials may be made to West Vanceboro Church of God or to Community Home Care and Hospice.
